Eco-Friendly Products

Eco-friendly products and resources help decrease your carbon footprint. Every little bit counts! When you shop, you should look for companies and products with the following certifications.

Certified B

Certified B Corporations are a new kind of business that balances purpose and profit. They are legally required to consider the impact of their decisions on their workers, customers, suppliers, community, and the environment. This is a community of leaders, driving a global movement of people using business as a force for good.

Energy Star

Energy star is the government-backed symbol for energy efficiency, providing simple, credible, and unbiased information that consumers and businesses rely on to make well-informed decisions. Since 1992, energy start and its partners helped American families and businesses save more than 4 trillion kilowatt-hours of electricity and achieve over 3.5 billion metric tons of greenhouse gas reductions.

Fair Trade

Fair trade is a global movement made up of a diverse network of producers, companies, shoppers, advocates, and organizations putting people and planet first. A choice for fair trade certified goods is a choice to support responsible companies, empower farmers, workers, and fishermen, and protect the environment.

LEED

Today people know that if they are in a LEED-certified building they are using less energy and water, avoiding waste, saving on maintenance costs, improving indoor air quality, offering comfort to their occupants, and creating less environmental burden on their community. They also know that they are in a building that enhances health and wellness.

Rainforest Alliance Certified

Our green frog certification seal indicates that a farm, forest, or tourism enterprise has been audited to meet standards that require environmental, social, and economic sustainability.

Sustainable Forestry Initiative

The SFI certified sourcing label and claim do not make claims about certified forest content. They tell buyers and consumers that company that is certified to the fiber sourcing standard, or comes from recycled content, or from a certified forest. All fiber must be from non-controversial sources.

Safer Choice

Safer Choice helps consumers, businesses, and purchasers find products that perform and contain ingredients that are safer for human health and the environment.
